The Lorenz Attractor, made out of 3D spheres! It uses my quick 3D sprite-based sphere renderer, I and I couldn't have done it without @kc021's quicksort implementation! Many thanks to @kc021! https://turbowarp.org/#421271108
I rendered the sphere sprite in Blender 3D (Eevee render engine). Because this is sprite-based, the lighting is technically normal-based, meaning no contact shadows. Sprite-based methods are the only viable option for rendering hundreds of objects in scratch in realtime. Or, if you are trying to render millions and millions of detailed trees in a rendering engine. And unfortunately, scratch stamping does not support anti-aliased sprite stamping. Isn't there anyone on the scratch team who can make some modifications and speedups to scratch?
