Spiked Retro Name: Retrovi Gender: Male (He/Him/They) Orientation: Hetero Personality: Introvert Species: Striped Hyena/Crocodile/Goat Hybrid Likes: Neon colors, geometric shapes, being rebellious, being alone Dislikes: Humans, laboratories, getting attached to people Backstory: (( It's pretty long, sorry ;o;)) Retrovi was a lab experiment in the year 3014. Scientists were creating hybrids consisting of 3 to 5 animals, later releasing them into a large dome covering over a quarter of the Earth to force them to survive on their own. Retrovi was the first experiment to include a Striped Hyena, due to the lack of their population. As he was becoming developed in his tank in the lab, an explosion occurred. Due to his lack of completion, the dominating personality and physical traits came from the hyena. Luckily for him he was close enough to being completed than he was able to survive and escape the horrid lab, leaving the other experiments to perish in their tanks and the scientists to die. The explosion broke the dome, allowing all the finished and dangerous experiments to escape and cause mayhem on the rest of the Earth. Strange creatures of all forms and types spilled into the streets on neighborhoods, small towns and homes. Retrovi was confused, unsure of where he was, and even what or who he was. He became a loner, surviving only on scraps and small helpless animals that made easy prey. Only a week after the escaping of the experiments, he met up with another hybrid. Her name was Ashley and she later told him the story of what happened at the lab. She and Retrovi formed a bond, becoming close friends. Together, they decided to go back to the lab, see if any scientist were left behind, and take revenge on the people for causing such a disaster. After arriving at the explosion site, the pair search for anything that would hint of survivors. Unfortunately humans had been clearing the area and they carried dart guns; to Retrovi and Ashley they seemed to be nothing that could cause harm. They slowly approached a small group of the humans, teeth bared and eyes slit. The first 'guard' pulled up the gun, finger over the trigger and shot a dart into Ashley's side. She fell to the ground, unconscious. Fear struck Retrovi, causing him to nip at the man's feet. More people ran towards them, and Retrovi ran. Ignorant to what had happened to his only friend, he assumed she was gone. He developed hatred for humans, their cities, their ideas. He became snarky and rude, sometimes extremely aggressive and full of himself. He now wanders the streets with a flash of warning in his eyes, mourning his lost friend.
