Her parents wanted to protect her from the Corrupted Souls, and made her a limit on how far she was supposed to go from her home cloud. When she was 12, she crossed that limit without her parents knowing, and ventured off into the land of the Corrupt. She walked into the corrupted land's forest, thinking she'd be fine. She saw a pretty flower on the ground and got distracted. The flower didn't grow naturally in the corrupted land, which made her interested. While she was inspecting the flower, a Corrupted Soul sneaked behind her and attacked, corrupting her arm and left eye. She ran home, hoping someone of her species could cure her of the corruption, but nobody did, since those who have been corrupted aren't allowed in their land.
