- You might have to click the flag a couple of times to get the background to load in - don't ask me why lol - Click the dark blue circles that appear on the screen, and avoid the red squares. - Dots are worth 1 point (shown at the top) - Squares are worth 5 points if you avoid them - But -10 points if you click them - You have one minute to collect as many points as you can! (shown at the bottom) - This project doesn't require a keyboard, so it will work on mobile devices, i.e. phones, tablets, etc - If you are experiencing lag, try Turbo Mode. - Good luck!
Well this is my first project in a while (nearly 18 months actually) and I'm pleased to say that I decided to go for 100% pen yet again. I'm particularly proud of the animated background, drawn using fast triangles, not unlike the fast squares originally showcased by @griffpatch_tutor here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/94923116/ The project automatically adjusts the resolution of the background according to how fast your device renders a couple of frames, which theoretically means, you should never experience any lag whilst playing! Another thing I'm pleased with is the animation for the circles; there's a surprising amount of maths involved for the smooth movement, and also, as scratch neglects to have a "point towards (x) (y)" block, I was forced to do some trig for the direction. And if you've got this far into the reading, maybe consider leaving a like or whatever it's called, as I could do with a bit more attention =)
