I'M BACK! :D Prepare for some reading. «A Few Quick Things» I know some of you probably missed me (I missed you too!) or at least are wondering why I left for some time and then didn't... return... for like... 3 months... don't worry. I will tell you why. But because I want to make sure people who don't care about that can enjoy the art and know what they're doing, all the stuff for you guys is at the bottom. For those of you who don't care (or just came later and have no idea what I'm talking about), the stuff at the top-ish is for you. :) ALSO (there's always an also) if you sent me a message, please be aware that I have, like... 563 messages to get through and I might not see it immediately. If I haven't responded in three-ish days from now then it probably got lost in the depths of the studio info (ah, studio info, my nemesis) and if you could just send me another comment just to let me know I missed it, that'd be really helpful. «Instructions» The project coding is pretty simple. You put your mouse on the drawing and it zooms in (it won't automatically zoom out, but if you take your mouse off it will eventually). «How did I draw it?» I drew her in my sketchbook and was so proud of it that I re-drew her on the computer. Halfway through the pen died and so I did the background (yes, that includes the dice), the coloring and shading with a mouse. Luckily I didn't have to do the lineart with the mouse, or it would be much more squiggly than it is now. «What Did I Draw?» I'm actually pretty excited to talk about this one. Recently my sister got really into D&D (Dungeons and Dragons) which for those of you who don't know is a tabletop roleplaying game, and for those of you who don't know what /that/ is, it's basically intense game of pretend with dice. So my sister got myself, some of my siblings, and a few friends over and we started playing. My sister is our DM (Dungeon Master), and the rest of us are players. The one I drew is (you guessed it!) my character! Her name is Lorilla Aelar Meliamne, and she is a gnome ranger. I can't give too much away about her because some of the people I play with are on scratch (grr), but here's some background that they should already know, so it isn't a spoiler. Lorilla is 3'3", the shortest in our group, and also the youngest in maturity at 18 years old (although one could argue she's about as mature as an 3 year old). I say 'in maturity' because we do have someone who I believe is 10(?) but because she's a dragonborn her body and mind are about how you'd picture someone in their 20's (she's actually the tallest in our party, or group). Lorilla was raised by elves, namely one (it's her mom!) called Thia (she's also in our party). Our party consists of a holographic dragonborn warlock named Nyer, a human rogue named Cadra, a wood-elf druid named Thia, a high-elf monk named Cisteel, a tiefling bard named Carapi, and Lorilla (all of them are female). If you want to see them, tell me and who knows? I might draw them. «For All You People Who Missed Me» Welcome to the hole of apologies. First off–SORRY! I left without really any warning and I'm super sorry about that. I was intending to come back soon (that worked well) but school came along and suddenly I lost all scheduling and was preoccupied with a lot of things. I probably could've gotten on, I'm not making excuses, but I was kinda afraid of facing the messages and ended up leaving for way longer than planned. Then I was going to come back in November (I didn't forget about you, my friends kept me posted and I even considered making an extra account I wouldn't make projects on but I could use it to support everyone's projects without feeling obligated to participate when I felt like I needed a break in the future). I did do NaNoWriMo (for all my writer friends), and while I didn't get the full 50,000 words, I did write almost every day, and I think considering my lack of a writing habit previously, that's a win for me. Nonetheless, I'm really sorry, really excited to be back, and really looking forward to talking to you guys again! I will be finishing my writing contest thing, but I might ease myself back into other commitments until winter break because of all my stuff. If you made it this far, then I'd just like to say thanks for reading! You are a committed friend and I appreciate it. :)
