Oh poor Yoku child. As his powers progress his hair darkens. Once he becomes as powerful as he can be his hair will fade with age as per usual. Left is his entry into the life of a Seer. Right is after a whole bunch of crap happens to him and the others. I made his hair short and i hate it like that, but long hair is unrealistic on adventures. He cuts it after their first. Fun fact! Both Yoku and Alexander were born with paper white, almost transparent hair. Alexander's hair will become a deep Brown when he retires. At the begining of the series his hair is a dirty blond. Yoku's hair will be pitch black when he retires. And i mean PITCH BLACK!!! light wont reflect off of it... PITCH BLACK!!! Fun fact #2: Seers retire when they are the mosy powerful to avoid trying to change the future in major ways. A little bit of forewarning is fine, like knowing when armies are coming and from where and when & what not. But knowing who wins those battles, or completely altering the future from what it should be is not acceptable and punishable by death. Not just your death, first the deaths of all the people closest to you. Then your death. Fun fact #3 1/2: Alexander broke this rule to save thousands of lives, and if Yoku had not loved Alexander (AS A FATHER!, Alexander raised him OKAY) then Alexander would have had a depressing future. Fun Fact #3: A lot of Seers break the rule above (changing the future in major ways) but they're never caught cause the next Seer is either: 1.not experienced enough to notice the change 2. to young or even not born yet 3. The old Seer and the young one have a good relationship and the younger would not tell on the older. Fun fact #4: A few Seers have been falsly accused by the younger Seer. Usually because the younger Seer is power hungry and ready to be in charge, or some fewd between the two. Theres no way to deny the younger Seer's claims because only them and the older Seer can, well, See... Fun Fact: you're still reading these for some reason...
