The year was 1977, July 4 to be exact. If you paid attention, you would realize that this was one year after the previous incident, but now, only one thing matters. The flower. A young girl, only seven years old, was already in over her head. She had hair the color of the orange sky at sunset, and eyes as green as emeralds, with fair skin and tall posture. But her favorite feature was her name, bright and optimistic just like her personality: Hope. Hope Everett. Well, young Hope right now was not in the most pleasant situation. She was near the now abandoned lab, surrounded by teenagers, daring her to do something that was on the bottom of her want-to-do list: eat a flower. Now, as you may have guessed, this flower was injected with that exact serum mentioned before. Hope did eat it, to the happiness of the teenagers, who left her alone, but she, for now, was okay. She made her way back to her mother, who brought her to a checkup at the doctor, and went home. She had no way of knowing what was to happen.
