This is just a beautiful art piece I made for an NAE Global Campus competition. It requires a visual and a writing piece about the theme ‘Home’. I wrote a poem called ‘Lost and Found.’ Here is the poem: One can be in a room full of people, yet alone. One can travel the world and yet never roam. One can have a house, and yet never a home. Home. What is home? Is home a place to return after a long winter’s night? Is home a place to reconcile after a terrible fright? Home is a place to cheer and to mourn. Home is a place where heroes are born. Us, you and I, we have a home, as such. But what of the people who aren’t as lucky as us? They are lost. But are we found? In case you are blind to anything important like me, this is the visual. {—————— ⬅️
Yes. I drew it. No, I did not use a reference. No, it was not done on SVE or SBE. It was done on Adobe Photoshop Sketch. It is a moon rising into a starry sunset sky over an ocean. Yes, the line is the horizon. Yes, the half of the moon that is inside the ocean is a reflection. Yay.
