Can't Believe The year is almost over! it seems like only yesterday I was making my account. In 2019, I gained 50 followers and made 49 projects. I bet I can do more next year! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------*Basically, Coppa and the FTC made an agreement with YouTube. Starting January 1, 2020, YouTube channels will have to mark their channels as either 'for kids',or 'not for kids'. If a channel is marked as 'for kids', it will lose things such as comment, the community tab, and personalized ads. Personalized ads make up from 60% to 90% of the income of most youtubers. Also, if a channel is marked as 'for kids', the channel's videos will not appear in the user's recommended, which will prohibit almost any channel growth. Also, if a channel is marked as 'not for kids' but YouTube finds that it is in fact 'for kids', the channel would be fined 42,000$ per video.
