Since my last map went so well I have decided to host a second one! I hope this goes just as well :D This map is an antagonist (or villain) map- meaning the main focus of the map parts must be the antagonistic character the hero of your story faces. There is more to it then that though- As this song focus on Gollum's backstory and decent into insanity and what he became in Lord of the Rings- I want to keep that element in this map. I ask that all your parts don't focus on the hero/villain conflicts, but the villains backstory and their fall into being a villain or their plotting against the hero of the story and the reasoning of why they are opposing the hero. =RULES= - This is a slower song so PMV is the type of animation I am looking for (although I will accept parts that have some frame-by-frame animation in them as long as they are mostly PMV). - Stick to the palette that is in the sprite marked "delete" - No epic battle scenes since this is a slower song- a flashback to one would be fine as long as the focus is more the antagonist having the flashback than the battle scene itself. - Minor gore is accepted but I would prefer none is used and if it is necessary keep it scratch appropriate. - Please please please don't use the backdrop for anything- keep all your art pieces to your PMV in the sprites and the music in the backdrops- no exceptions. - If you add clones I beg of you to please have them delete at the end of your part because trying to figure that out while assembling the map will be a pain. - Have more than 2 frames in your part. - You have 3 weeks to finish your parts. Extensions will only be given if and only if you have a valid excuse that isn't you just forgetting about it or not doing it right away. Even though I do give you 3 weeks I would prefer they get in sooner then later. - I don't add codewords because I am not afraid to tell people to redo things that do not follow the rules or theme of the map. In stories there can often be more than one antagonist- whether or not you use the main one is up to you. Feel free to use side antagonists- smaller characters with less of a role in a story but still opposing the hero for whatever reason it is. Even use antagonists that become part of the heroes at some point or heroes falling into antagonistic roles in a story! I merely want to see backstory for this map- the pain and suffering the bad guys (or former good guys) went through to become what they are! Be creative and use unlikely characters! As long as you aren't focusing around the heroes that are /the heroes/ (or the heroic life of a former hero) I will accept it.
