Mouse over balls to see their number. Click on one to guess. It will tell you whether the answer is lower or higher than its number. If you get it right, you'll see a screen with your guesses and a message (and a ranking out of 5)
Yes, that variable in the corner is your number of guesses. There's a strategy, but I won't say what.
