another one!!!! i used the arrow keys this time, so you can look at the previous stuff! better in full screen!!! 1: this is snufkin without his tunic on a very hot day, based on some art piece i saw the other day. it was drawn shortly after everything in that moomin art dump 2: this is apollo in that semi-modern universe you might remember from a while back! in this context he's directing westside story, which is difficult due to the fact that nymphs and satyrs have absolutely no musical talent. (but persephone does, and that's convenient!) 3: this is little my and the snork maiden! i don't really like this drawing but i felt obligated to put it here 4: the BOYS!!! the HUSBANDS!!! judging from their posture they probably swapped bodies again or something- anyway i like this art piece a lot. crowley is perfect and aziraphale is alright (even though his hair looks like spaghetti) 5: this is artemis!!! same world!! she accidentally ended up as stage manager for westside story when she was supposed to be babysitting persephone (they're practically the same age???? demeter is weird), but apollo called and yelled about a theatrical disaster, which caused her and persephone to rush over to the playhouse, only for apollo to cast persephone as maria 6: this is something i drew in the dressing room! it was supposed to be sleeping beauty at the time but it kind of ended up as a beta version for some characters you'll see later! all you need to know is and this stage in development, this character was named voltairine. 7: the titular character of noelle stevenson's comic "nimona"!! it's really great you should read it! nimona here is a shapeshifter! 8: this is based off a painting of cinderella where i thought she looked really kind of sickly, and it inspired me to think up a whole short film based on the grimms' cinderella (which is MUCH darker than the disney version. no fairy godmother in sight.), where the protagonist (called cindy) is short, bi, and out to kill 9: this is!! from that story i was talking about!! this sleeping beauty one! at this point the character's name is pippa. she's a mechanic from a vagrant theatrical society called the swans, and she has a condition where her skin is gradually turning gold. she makes a lot of props. 10: this is voltairine again! i feel like, even though this is a good art piece, i can never exactly capture her energy? like, she looks too dainty in this. she is not dainty. she is a self-identified rat. 11: this is alex fierro from magnus chase!!!!! i love him so much!!! if you've never read magnus chase, alex is a genderfluid shapeshifter who's weapon of choice is a garrote and wears exclusively pink and green. how i love him so 12: hamANTHA, hamANTHA, you were IMPOSSIBLE TO IGNNNOORRREEEE- i love this song so much, i just... couldn't NOT draw fan art for it, y'know? i love hamantha she is so amazing. she's a STAR 13: this is qibli from wings of fire! i decided that since i hadn't drawn wof fan art in forever, i would draw one of my favorite characters, namely the bi bean! he's a cheeky little rapscallion 14: these are my characters, sasha and leander! i've had them for about a year now, which is a world record for me. they were based off of a dream i had about alexander hamilton and aaron burr. their height gap is ENORMOUS 15: scorpia!!! my wife!!!! she is a bean i love her so much. a ray of sunshine. a sweet summer child. my only issue with this drawing is i drew her left arm kinda funky 16: snufkin! another! he's a lad. a true introvert. 17-18: the start of a comic called "sasha and leander attend a ball! 17: this is sasha, just waking up, only to find a particular someone is throwing oranges at his window. i really like the way i drew sasha's face here. 18: sasha looks out, only to have another orange shoot past him, and he sees leander yelling at him from the ground. i was going to do some perspective stuff but that's hard. i was also going to give leander a hat. 19-22: tova (formerly voltairine) and bea (formerly pippa) with interesting color palettes! 19: so one night i was tired and bored and i needed to get a story back on track. i had been losing interest in it and needed to find something to do with it. so... i decided to draw the leads, tova and bea, kind of cuddling. it turned out wonderfully. i gave bea a shorter haircut, i simplified nova's dress, i fixed their respective vibes. all is well. 20: bea again! this is my favorite palette out of all three! there isn't anything all THAT cool about this piece besides the way i drew bea's gold patches. 21: tova's turn! she is manspreading. also, i decided only to light her rosy patches since her freckles are very important to her design. i had a hard time deciding what color her freckles would be on this piece 22: my least favorite from the collection! the palettes alright and the anatomy is okay. their vibe is passable. it's and alright drawing.
