Use Z to open doors. The mobile controls are self-explanatory from their symbols. The left button is what you use for movement. Simply drag it around in any direction to move the player. The buttons on the right are the open door and shoot buttons. If you lose all of your health, you lose a life and start again. If you lose all of your lives it is game over. Credits: Id Software for the original game Wolfenstein 3D (1992) I will add some extra things here and there to improve the quality of the walls (So sorry about how blocky they look). I am going to be adding more levels to this game. Due to limitations of Scratch, I can most probably only fit about 12 levels, so each episode will have the level in it that I think is the best and its boss floor. A remake of a classic game, Wolfenstein 3D, which I have been inspired by countless times in the past half-decade. This uses my Raycaster engine. You can learn how to make your own raycaster here using my own tutorial: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/356545194/ Use https://forkphorus.github.io/#358664779 for quicker gameplay This makes use of my Raycaster engine. Many thanks to for his Raycaster with Entities project, as that helped me create the main overall code for plotting objects and enemies on screen. Everything else, except for the art is mine. I put a lot of work into this. I was inspired when I saw other re-creations of this game on Scratch, so I wanted to see how I could use my own Raycaster Engine to make a game like this. All textures use my own texture mapping code. Some things have been censored from the original game and replaced with more acceptable things: -Nazi symbols have been replaced with simple shapes (circles etc). -Enemies are instead knocked out and not killed. -All blood rewas moved. -Knife replaced with Fist. Thank you to as his project was the perfect source for finding some of the assets from the original gameused in this project. -Dogs replaced with guards (that get knocked out and not killed) for Some things do remain (e.g. skeletons, piles of bones) as they are not specifically harmful or entirely graphic in any way. Updates: v1.2 19 Jan 2020 Doors now have an animation when you open and close them. v1.1 18 Jan 2020 Enemy movement + Improved ordering of the walls. v1.0 18 Jan 2020 Shared! Why does this apply to the SDS studio? This project is a key project in my time here on scratch. It uses key concepts that I have learned over the past few years in the 2010s. Also, it is a remake of a game that I was inspired by countless times in my time here on scratch.
