Lore: Cobalt is drake (as opposed to a lung, hydra, or wyrm) that spent his childhood growing up in a cave. He doesn't know why he was left there, but he has spent all of his life up until now in silent stone halls. How does he survive? Well, unbeknownst to him, he is one of the most powerful beings to have ever existed, because of his ability to… absorb other influences. All the sustenance he needs comes from the 3 elements he has absorbed so far. His coming was sensed by powerful drakes, lungs, hydras, and wyrms alike, and they feared his power. They believed he might one day pose a threat to them, so they spirited him away to a magically sealed cave the minute he was born. Well, he was actually nameless at birth, but he named himself after the first thing his body took in, without him quite realizing: a vein of cobalt, becoming one with him, his scales turning shades of cobalt blue. The second ore he absorbed was mercury, which can turn a certain shade of red, and as Cobalt has no family name, it was perfect. One often meets their destiny on the road they take to avoid it, and the world will soon know his name… Cobalt Cinnabar. BTW he's not really evil. Just look at him smile! Also, the scarf is the only thing he was left with when he was shut inside the cave.
