Snow pup sighed. It had been hours since her mother had returned. ‘Was my mother eaten by white claws?’ ‘ did she run away?’ she sighed and laid down and walked out, hoping to smell her and then go to her. She walks out and sees two wolves. They are not white claws, but she panicked. Their eyes looked all over the clearing. Then they shot their eyes on her. She yelped and ran into the hollow. She heard paws running against the wet ground. Her eyes shot around and looked around. She hid in the balcony. Lightning sighed and walked in “ is anyone there? Any pups or anything?” he said acting like he didn’t know she was in there. He sighed and said” anyone related to Frost?” this has seemed to click on Snow's voice. Snow pup looked down” hh-hello?“ “Hello there?” “Who are you?” “Lightning, who are you?” “ Snow p-” “ Snow?” Snow pup looked” no Snow PUP,” she said stoutly and walked slowly down, not trusting them, but she felt like she was not commanding her legs, they were just doing it.” momma said I can only become snow when I catch my first prey” Lightning laughed and said” when our pups are your age, they already have their name” he smiled and looked at her. She was not smiling. She howled at him” where is mommy!!!!!!!” she said, tears welling in her eyes. Hazel's eyes softened and looked at her” white claws” she said softly. Snow pups eyes widened and yowled” no!no!no! She’s not gone!” she ran into the willow and howled” momma! Momma!” she waited for a response and… she got none. Her eyes watered and she looked back” is she gone?” Lightning nodded slightly, a howl ringing out... Snow pup looked `` white claws!” Hazel walks over” we should leave.” Snow pups eyes faded and then nodded, walking out. Her knees ache from standing and she felt tired, so she wobbled along. Hazel looked at her and then picked her up and laid her on storms back as he came into the group.” let’s get going, we must be there by the end of the moon.” they both nod” the stars are being easy on us for this journey so far” storm added” lets not upset them” ↜↝ Snow pup woke up to a new smell. Was it a new rabbit? And why wasn't her mother waking her up? She wanted to tell her about this nightmare she had, it was very strange. It almost seemed real. She opened her eyes and jumped, seeing three wolves, one more than her “ dream” had shown. She shook her head as they ate a pronged thing, she remembered. Frost was gone, these wolves took her. But whos the third one? She looked up at the sky and saw that the air and place were more different than the flat, more rigid and rough. She sat up as a brown one looked up and looked at her” hello Snow” she walked over” hungry? You were asleep for a while” she threw a piece of meat to her. She hesitantly sniffed it and saw the others wolfing( pun intended) down this food. She took a small lick off the edge and then gasped. The smell and taste were better than any fish or bunny she’s ever had, and she starts to eat as if she never had. A grey one chuckled and walked over” must've never tasted elk” he said to the other two, licking his teeth. She looked up” eelk?” a third one, pure white, got up” no.elk.They feed us” he looked at her” your mother was so far away, elk were never there in about ten generations.” he said coldly and kept eating. The brown one shook her head and said:” don't bother her Storm, I'm Hazel” she nodded” that's Storm” she pointed the white wolf, and he snorted” and that's Lightning” the grey wolf smiled and bowed. Storm snorted again” her mother should have at least told her our name, even as a villain?” he sat up and looked at the sky and breathed slowly and got up” we've got to go. The sun has past and the scent is farther than I've expected” he got up and looked at snow pup” you strong enough to walk mountains?” his eyes drifted to the mountain. Hazel steps in between them” her pads are probably softer than wanted, but the more she walks, the better,” she said at him sternly. He sighed” all right”. Lightning start talking behind her, Snow pup yelped, not seeing him. “ I've got some extra food to throw off the white claws” Storm muttered to Lightning, just a little too loud. snow pups eyes widened” they're real?” “ you never knew? “ momma told me about them when I wanted to go to the mountains” “Ever wanted to go?” “Used to”

Hazel looked at him and snorted” so ungrateful, remember your a few years younger than him so he can't boss you are-” WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!” Snow Pup barked over Hazel's remark. Hazel's eyes sharpened in surprised. she said” your mother never told you?” snow pup shook her head” but I'm small?” Hazel remarked quickly” yes yes! It's because of the food, elk helps you grow around these parts. Yet you've been eating rabbits” she said as she started to walk. She sighed after a few paw steps she heard a noise, a yell. She stopped, so did Hazel. She barked” noise” they both come back, snarling. The noise was coming closer and it was a black blob. It smacked into Snow pup and it was ...Judgment.” where is your mother!fruit told me about this” She looked at him and smiled” I'm leaving” he gasped and said more clearly” no!” he kept saying that till she said” then leave me” Judge looked and groaned, walked over to her and said” I'm staying with you” he sat on her back” your mother”( Snow pup flinched.) “ would’ve wanted it” he looked at her, noticing the hurt expression and everyone's expression around him( worried)” where is she?” he raised his eyebrows and looked at them and then flew up, hovering over Snow Pup” let go,” the bat said. Storm and Lightning and talking softly enough to catch a few words(“ father...bat ruin it..”) and they look up” we say fine but you must not get in the way” he said with an edge” or vultures will have an exotic dinner” Judgments puffed chest deflated and his eyes widened” oh s-sure, but Snow won't let it happen right?” he looks and she wasn’t paying attention. Storm looked at him and smiled and started to walk. Hazel nodded and started to walk, Lightning and Snow Pup following. They start up the mountain as the stars glow. The stars glowed with approval and walked over Snow pup walked over to a tree. Something not right. She twisted her head and still saw a red tree. A RED tree. How's this possible? She sniffed it and a monster came out. It had the body of a wolf, wings of a lizard? She has no idea about those. Chains were around its legs and its tail swirled off black. Scales around its neck and slashes everywhere. She gasped and stumbled back in fear and shock. What is it? Its voice was dark but normal” don't trust some of those wolves.” it says darkly. She looked at it and was scared that it even spoke” who?” she choked out in shock and fear. Its eyes glistened” the hurricane will be covered well but will be your enemy” it said roaring at her .she shot her eyes shot open. Hazel was staring at her” Snow you're awake!” she said with fear, ``Are you alright? You were talking in your sleep.” it seems she woke up in the middle of the night, the moon in the middle of the sky. A fire burned while Storm towered next to it, getting warm. He looked” maybe she's as crazy as Fro- OW!” Snow suddenly noticed that Lightning was awake as well and has bitten him on the side.” can we continue now?” he said, raising his paw to put out the fire. Hazel nods and puts it out before him” let's get going.” Snow gets up and says” are we past the mountain?” Hazel shakes her head” were going in” she says” it’s very dangerous in there so we wanted you awake so you can escape if anything goes wrong” she smiled, but this didn't help her nervous attitude as the rocks got more elevated. Snow pup's eyes widened as her head had to go as long as it had to for her to see the bottom. She gulped as the mountain looked as if it would swallow her as she walked into its walls. She looked at Hazel and got closer. Hazel directed her eyes to her and her tail came around her, making her closer” don’t worry, you're going to be safe with us.”. Her stomach flopped with unease as the mountain swallowed them and their adventure had begun.
