This demo uses Newtons equations to calculate the motion of a planet moving under the influence of the Suns gravity. To use this, place the small blue ball at a desired starting position, then use the sliders to set its initial velocity. Vx sets the initial speed in the horizontal direction, Vy sets the initial speed in the vertical direction. Click the starting flag to let the blue ball move under the force of gravity of the larger yellow ball. An additional slider adjusts the mass of the Sun. Use the reset button to reset the sliders to their default positions.
