Island of Agapi has been peaceful for years, and the inhabitants want to keep it that way. Despite just tiny criminal activity (like maybe stealing, but that's rare), people live in unity and understanding. The most brave souls sail out to sea, to find a lost treasure -- the Treasure of Erin Ramsey, a well-known sailor that lived years ago, and is a local legend-- even though he died around 100 years ago. But aside from that, nothing really interesting is going on. But the people of Agapi look out for each other, no matter what.
@WolffTheVirus19 for IoA (Island of Agapi) :3 ----Info---- -Thalia's name is based off the muses from Greek Mythology, while Calliope being her sister is also based from that. Thalia also means "flourishing". -Flora's name is based off the Greek Goddess Chloris whose Roman name is Flora. I felt the name Flora fit better, though. -Okeanós, or ωκεανός, is the Greek word for ocean. ----Other---- -I had thought of bringing back Calliope, but I wasn't sure what her role might be, so I made her one of the treasure hunters. -Talia works as both an entertainer and a craft-shop owner to care for her daughter. -There's a chance Thalia might have more than one sister (7 more aside from Calliope), all based off the Greek muses, but I haven't decided yet. (If you want to make one of her sisters or another member of her family feel free.) -More importantly, I kept the status of Thalia's lover/husband up in the air. I simply couldn't come up with a last name, so it was either a Bob/Janine situation, they haven't gotten the chance to get married, or he's also MIA. If anyone wants to make him, though, feel free. I'd be willing to change their last names if that's the case. (Yeah, I know that could mean two missing people. x/) He had black hair and was probably a fisherman. *shrug* ..Or another treasure hunter xD -------- Still though, I really like how Flora turned out. Apparently Sunflowers are Native to Greece and all the Greek references used seemed like a good chance to add that easter egg in. They symbolize adoration, loyalty, and longevity. :D -------- I feel bad about this, but I might have to push that important project /another/ day. I had a lot of chores (mostly laundry) to do and it was already 9-10pm by the time I got back on. I figured finishing an application would be better instead since, that way, I can RP a little more tomorrow without the wait. I hope that's fine ^-^
