robin huffed as she jumped down a cliff, escaping a group of people sliding down after her. one threw a knock out gas grenade and she jumped through it,inhaling some of it. she shook her head and kept going,her line of vision wobbling. she grabbed a stick and was trying to make a sharp edge,but with no avail. she was hyperventilating as she ran into the forest. her mother had told her to hide if they came,she has to hide.. has to.. she saw a small cave and slid inwards,scraping lots of her already burned and cut skin. she covered her mouth to not scream in pain as two men walked around the cave,laughing and shooting into the night. they jumped down and she backed up,resulting in a broken twig. both boots stopped as they said"finally,i say we shoot on three" she breathed and then looked around,trying to find more shelter.nothing. "one" she looked and then saw that the sides were sharp,she couldnt go that way.. "two!" there was no back door for her,it had collapsed the last time she escaped,how could she forget? "three!-AHH!" when they were about to shoot,a animal jumped onto one, his screams echoing as the other tried to shoot it. she watched his boots as he backed up quickly, saying"please..no!" but it was too late, the animal had pounced on him and silenced him. she breathed and then crawled slighlty,only to be in front of a wolf with cloth over his eyes and back. she screamed as the face stared at her,emotionless. she held out her hand, and he sniffed it,and rubbed on it. "..thanks buddy?" she pet his head, and the wolf recoiled slightly,but she stopped"sorry.." the wolf sat down and she smiled"you're pretty cool,thanks for those guys.." it nodded. she then saw the wolf lay down and the start to fall asleep. she thought then remarked"you're name is jack, ok?" the wolf grumbled and started snoring. robin shivered against the cold and laid on the back of the cave, away from the wolf. she closed her eyes, then felt a warmth against her feet and chest. she opened one eye to see the fur and coverage of jack, laying next to her. she smiled and put her hand on his pelt"heh..ok then" she then fell asleep right there with him, with no worries.
