I got most of my information from the book, Alone Across the Arctic, by Ann Dixon, and Pam Flowers, who went on a sledding journey that lasted a year. IF YOU LIKE LEARNING ABOUT DOG SLEDDING, it's a very good read, and so are the other books she has written. Alone Across the Arctic is the story of her epic journey and how her and her dogs worked together as a team traveling through the arctic.
