so uh I just returned and @Flame-Tigress assisted me in making a reason why Thunderchaser disappeared. We decided that all this time he's been stuck in a cave, with only his own mind. Anyways, this is a quick scribble of what his time in the cave did to him. He was stuck wandering tunnels after tunnels after tunnels, not being able to see. So he used his magic to go through the (excruciatingly painful) process of giving himself glowing scales. He was going to give himself eyes with the ability to see in the dark, but it was so painful that he only managed to give himself a single extra eye for this, underneath his right eye. This transformation also caused his primary color to change from red to a deep navy blue, however Thunderchaser did not realize it because all he could see in the cave was tinted with blue light from the glowing scales. As I write this, I am realizing that I forgot to give him the horns down his back and on his cheeks, and I might fix that in the future.
