This is the supposed final version of Astro-Pong. The game is like if pong and asteroids had a baby. Hence the name, but pretty much it is a two-player game. Both either control the paddle or the ball depending on who hit the ball with their paddle last. The player whose paddle is not filled in will be the one controlling the ball. The ball controls much like the rocket in astroids, with the only mission being to get to the other side without letting the other player hit the ball. If they do they will then control the ball. The player who is controlling the ball can also score a point for the other player, so be careful. Also, the ball controller's paddle is deactivated so the ball will not collide with it. The controls for each player are in the notes. The game also comes with a short theme and title screen because why not? I wanted it to... To start, press the green flag and click start. The game will not end so it is up to you when one player has won. That's me saying I was too lazy to make a scoring limit but whatever. To start a new game just press the green flag again and press start again.
Player one uses W to thrust forward when controlling the ball and A and D to turn left and right when controlling the ball. They use the W key to go up with the paddle and S to go down with the paddle. Player two uses the up arrow key to thrust forward when controlling the ball and the left and right arrow keys to turn left and right when controlling the ball. They use the up arrow key to go up with the paddle and the down arrow key to go down with the paddle. All of the sprites and the title screen song were made by me along with the title text and the start text. The scoreboard font was inspired by the original pong scoreboard font. This game was created as part of my computer programming class during the 2nd semester of freshman year.
