Star always was the 'hero'. Nightmare came along and decided that he would turn Purity/Corrupted since he was so powerful. So they had a bet. They agreed that they would fight, and if Nightmare won, he would turn Purity/Corrupted over to his side. aand Night won. Nightmare stamped his paw on the ground, corrupting Purity and clouding his mind with painful memories. Purity's eye was now black, and black pixels started raidiating aroud him. He lost his only wing. He was now corrupted.
