"some sort of owl character, like, a companion type character" All of the red/blue design parts can glow. I imagine it guides people through the forest at night and stuff. There are five of those colored feathers on each side- the last blue one can't be seen at this angle. The spots on the inside of the wings are actually loosely based on a butterfly's eyespots, not Umbreon rings. Sorry the coloring isn't great, I tried, but my colored pencils are so flat. You're free to keep and change whatever you want. If you don't like the character at all, I can start from scratch.
