IMPORTANT NOTE: Please double-click the flag or the audio will not sync up properly!! This is a project for my 200-follower special! (It wasn't originally going to be that, but I recently hit 200 and wanted to celebrate somehow.) Thanks to each and every one of you. I never expected to come this far on my Scratch journey and I look forward to what the future holds! <3 This is a project I've been working on on and off since February, but I finally finished it today! This is a song I was originally going to sing with my singing group, but of course, that got canceled :P I had decided a couple of months ago that I wanted to record myself singing all of the parts anyway, but now that I have extra free time, I finally got around to it! I'm really proud of how this came out! It's not perfect, but considering I'm a soprano, I'm surprised I was able to hit those low notes in the bass lines. Sharing this is a pretty big step for my confidence too. You may have noticed that I haven't shared song covers in a while, and that's mostly a confidence issue that I'm overcoming. I really hope you enjoy this and it brings you some inspiration during this tough time. I highly recommend checking out the original version by Pentatonix! https://youtu.be/LawDrrr8dGk That's it for the super long description. Thanks for reading if you got this far! Lyrics: Close your eyes, lay your head down Now it's time to sleep May you find great adventure As you lie and dream If you're scared of the darkness I will calm your fear There's a light in the hallway So you know I'm here So count your blessings every day It makes the monsters go away And everything will be okay You are not alone You are right at home Goodnight, goodnight You won't need me forever But I'll still be here For we all have our nightmares Even me, my dear From now on, if you need me You can sing this song There's a light in the hallway Burning all night long So count your blessings every day It makes the monsters go away And everything will be okay You are not alone You are right at home Goodnight, goodnight Goodnight, goodnight Ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh
