I changed the pitch I hope that's ok if not I can change it back. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Birch'fur padded down the tunnel , to the moonstone his fur on end , he just hoped he did not see HER there - flash back - The dark navy sky was filled with stars as the young deputy and med cat of Doe'clan padded down the border of the territory in a empty corner , hidden from any other cat in the whole forest , no one ever wanted near that place , it felt uneasy. ' What did you want to discuss?... ' Oak'purr asks softly her brown fur blending in with the surrounding dirty cliffs. ' About the kits... ' Birch'fur struggled not to hiss , claws digging into the dirt , Oak'purr looks down struggling to talk... ' I-I'm sure there is some way to hide them... We can pretend they are the kits of a rouge , if we can sneak out of camp before I have them , I can have them and pretend on our journey to mothermouth we had found them... ' ' … ' Birch'fur had lead Oak'purr to a tunnel hidden by bramble and trees , she had only just noticed this. ' Where are we? ' She'd whimper the only light came from the stars above though it was very dim. The only sound she could hear was the water dripping from cracks in the cave. 'It stinks of bear in here... ' Don't worry the bear is long dead... ' Oak'purr jumps spinning around , unable to see she swipes her claws at whoever was behind her...Only to hear Birch'fur cackle ' Its only me Oak ' he smiles brushing his tail over her , she could still not see as he smiles , ' would you like something to eat? I found some berry's , healthy ones though do not worry! ' ' Uh , ok! ' She'd smile not thinking before swallowing a mouth full. They tasted sour and made her head sting , ' Ugh what are these...They don't taste nice... ' she adds. ' Oh poor Oak'purr… What a shame when the clan hear , when walking in this dark cave , blindly , weak and alone while I hunted for you … You had ate some deadly berries... Ones that only grow in this cave , ah yes , poor blind Oak'purr… ' ' W-what! Please , oh st-starclan please tell me this is a sick joke! Surely you would n-not! ' She whimpers, moments after she coughs up a tiny bit of blood , somehow this amuses Birch'fur. ' Why would you do this! What about our k-kits! ' she hacks out , ' What kits? ' he hissed slamming her head onto the cold floor of the cave with ease. - end flashback - -------------------------------------------------------------------------
