snowkit's journey chapter 8 and 9 [warriors fan-fiction]

Instructions

chapter 8- the traveling and barn cats kept their distance most of the time but the twolegs in the barn had kept them. snowkit found it easier to sleep in the barn as he always had in twoleg dens. soon leafbare came and outside was covered in snow, preventing the cats to go outside. snowkit had felt ill and asked clover to check on him. clover said that he had a hint of whitecough but catmint would cure it. daily, clover would go out, in search of the herb whilst snowkit slept in his warm hay nest. soon, barely had caught it too and they had to sleep somewhere else from the other cats. in the middle of the night, snowkit woke up in a fit of coughing. clover woke and said in the sign language ''i will go to search for catmint near the twoleg place'' the next morning, clover came back looking exausted, but a bundle of herbs were in her jaws. ''i found these in a twoleg garden far away, accross the thunderpath.'' she signed. soon the cats were cured and although the two groups of cats didn't get alsong too well, ravenpaw suggested that they should stay a few more moons to recover. chapter 9- it was time for them to travel again. the three cats headed towards the setting sun. the journey at first was easy but as they headed nearer to the mountains, a group of rats attacked them. clover got a rat bite on her back so she tried to look for herbs that would cure it but being in a twolegplace, herbs they needed were hard to find. the next sundown, ash found a small stem of burdock so he dug out the roots and carried them in his jaws to where clover was lying down in a nest made of the few grass they found. he had chewed it into a pulp then plastered it onto the wound but they knew it was not enough if they nedded to apply it every day. clover thought that she wouldn't be able to travel with her wound so they wondered into a forest at the end of the twolegplace. a twoleg kit jusmed off the branch of a tree and landed near the cats.the kit tried to grab them but they moved away. ash said that he doesn't trust the twoleg kits. finaly, the kit ran away and sqeeled something then brought back an older twoleg. the older twoleg noticed clover's injury so he put her in a cobweb-like fence which clover told snowkit was called a cage. the twoleg put the three cats into the 'cage' and put them inside a monster. all that snowkit knew about monsters was that they were dangerous and right now, he was fed to one. the monster slept in a den beside the twoleg den and the twoleg took their cage out of the monster. snowkit sighed in relief. the twoleg then seperated them into three cages with food and water but clover didn't get water. instead the twoleg poured in a red liquid that looked like blood.
