A lot like Mayuri did ;u;) ------------------- Namesake: Mayuri S. Pólemos Mayuri is derived from the Sanskrit word for 'peacock' - an animal that symbolizes royalty. It's also said to represent awakening as the feathers resemble eyes, I guess? S. - Her maiden name. Doesn't appear in her applications, but it's Strida. The Swedish verb 'To fight'. It is likely that the founder of the company that made the same type of serving robots she is, has this last name and named his company after it. Πόλεμος/Pólemos - means 'War' in Greek. Pretty similar in meaning to her maiden name, but it's the closest thing to a last name Mayuri has had, so she doesn't mind all that much. ------Some other clarifying things------- -I just realized her weapons probably can't phase through her sleeves, so she probably rolls them up, or they're detachable or something. -Mayuri probably started out as a child when she was built. Though if she truly is 25, this means she was around 14 during the time she was in arena fights and when the war started.. Actually making her a teenager and not a child. -Because this.. inventor's daughter.. was likely a bit younger than her, Mayuri probably helped install some of the stolen modifications herself, and maybe taught her the ropes when it came to technology. -Before becoming Royalty, Mayuri was already well known in the arena for what she did and probably carries "Wrath" as a nickname like her counterpart. -Even though the war started 11 years ago (placing Mayuri at 14) she probably didn't marry Havan until she was at least 18, which would've been 7 years ago. [SPOILERS AHEAD. DO NOT READ PAST THIS POINT] -The inventor's daughter is Madrona. Madrona was once human. So, when she was around 6-8 (before the war started) she was the one to steal from her father and modify Mayuri. Once Mayuri met Madrona as a robot (shortly after the war began) she spared her - thinking the human and robot versions of Madrona were different enough to be considered different people.
