ʙᴀᴄᴋsᴛᴏʀʏ (brace yourself) ☆ Vesper was never supposed to be born, but when they were, they were born premature and helpless. Their parents obviously didn’t care for Vesper because they were soon sent to live with their Aunt, never seeing their parents again. Vesper’s Aunt was the kindest person on the planet to them and the only person they cared about the most in their childhood. She would always care for them: playing with them in simple blanket forts, teaching them how to make PB&J sandwiches, taking them on trips to the gas station to get slushies after a hot, fun summer day at the beach, and tucking them lovingly into bed after an exciting bed-time story and a kiss goodnight. Everything that Vesper’s parents didn’t care enough to do with her. Vesper’s Aunt was also honest with them, finally telling them the difficult truth of their parents carelessness. Vesper had a difficult time in school and was diagnosed with ADHD, finding it difficult to concentrate on subject except one: Music class. They were always intrigued when an up-beat rap song played in the car through the staticy speakers, or through the window of the next-door neighbor’s house. So eventually, Vesper began to give rap music another shot, a full-blown change to prove its worth in their difficult life. When the upbeat sound of the unique music reached their ear drums, their mind exploded with color and emotion, a mind-scape of electricity growing more and more ecstatic with every spoken word and savoring every tuned sound. At that moment, their fate was decided: Vesper had to become a rapper. Their days were now filled to the brim with NF, blackbear, WHATUPRG, and so much more. With every song they gained more ideas and with practice Vesper knew they could become something great one day. Their Aunt fully supported the idea, but their other classmates and most of their teachers didn’t find it so appealing. Constant teasing came into play a while back, but now it was more intense than ever before. “How could someone like you possibly be a rapper?” or “Rapping is a waste of time and encourages violence.” were some quotes that rang about in their head in their free time. But Vesper didn’t let it get to them, being determined to pursue their passion. Now, Vesper is still devoted to becoming the best rapper they can be, as well as a better person (not to say it’s easy). c r e d i t s : o r i g i n a l - d e s i g n : e n t r y - a r t : s o n g s : How We Coming by 1K Phew, WHATUPRG, and Ty Brasel and Roxanne by Arizona Zervas (Clean version)
