=========================================== Aᴘᴇʀᴛᴜʀᴇ【|】ᵃⁿ ᵃᵈᵛᵉⁿᵗᵘʳᵉ ᵖˡᵃᵗᶠᵒʳᵐᵉʳ - by Erin Rose =========================================== "Hello, and welcome to the Aperture Science Enrichment Center. You seem to have stumbled in here by mistake, and we hope you take care in exiting this facility. This facility will self-destruct in...[electric cut-off]" =========================================== =========================================== Controls =========================================== Arrow Keys: Move & Jump E: Reset character position (use if stuck inside a tile). =========================================== =========================================== Known Bugs =========================================== -Player, if they have enough velocity, can glitch through the block and into it, rendering it stuck. Hence the Reset Key. No known fix. -If player bumps into the step of a Stair Tile, they can be pushed to a random location. No known fix. -If player has a high enough Jump Level (specifically 20 or more), they can glitch through the ceiling, and either appear at the top of the tile they glitched through, or get stuck in it. -If player has enough vertical velocity, they can fall completely through a platform, therefore falling further down. Happens from much higher heights, with the anomaly here and there. -If there are more, please let me know. -If you are able to fix any bugs listed, make a remix and put in the title "BUG FIX" before the rest. Thx. ===========================================
=========================================== Credits =========================================== -Scrolling-Platformer Engine: griffpatch, copied from YT -Art: Erin Rose =========================================== =========================================== Changelog =========================================== -v0.1 - introduces main platformer and mechanics. Introduces the Speed Boost Orb, Jump Boost Orb, Ceiling Grab Mechanic, and basic movement (Arrow Keys). Introduces the scrolling mechanic, and the beginning level layout. This is what is basically is, but I need to adjust some more things and add more before it's fully complete. Still buggy, but workable. ===========================================
