Penroids is a remake of the classic Atari game "Asteroids". Although it's not an exact replica, I hope you still have fun playing it. :) I sure had a lot of fun making it! Controls: [UP]:Thrust [LEFT/RIGHT]:Turn [SPACE]:Shoot/Menu Actions [P]:Pause Mission [Q]:Quit Mission [M]:Mute/Unmute The goal of the game is simple: You start with a bunch of asteroids floating around. Your mission is to destroy all of the asteroids by shooting them with your laser gun. When you clear all the asteroids, a new wave starts with... more asteroids! :D After three deaths, you are taken to a debrief screen showing you your stats for the session.
A big shout out to Oranium for making most of this game! I had lots of fun on the Atari and when I found this I was mind blown. I did not change much but I still got a first hand on what was needed to code this awesome game. It was very complicated and this is just a remix of a remix of the original game. I was trying to make this a two player game but I can't figure out how. ( Like I said, Very complex=) ). If I can get more time to change this, that is what I plan on trying. What was hard for me when I started to remix this I didn't understand a single thing. After some research though, I now know more so this was a great experience.
