Press the green flag. Then, you will see two options: 'Computer/Laptop' and 'Mobile/Tablet'. Choose 'Computer/Laptop' if you are on a device with a keyboard. This starts the game in computer mode, where you control Scratch Cat using the left and right keys on the keyboard. Choose 'Mobile/Tablet' if you are on a device without a keyboard. This starts the game in mobile mode, where you control the cat by holding the left and right arrows on the screen. Once you select an option, click anywhere on the screen to start the game. When you lose and click the green flag to restart, you will not need to set the game mode again. Once you start, platforms will keep appearing at the bottom of the screen and moving to the top. You have to use the left and right arrow keys to control Scratch Cat, and keep on falling off platforms and landing on the one below it. Because there are spikes at the top of the screen, and the platforms are moving up, if you don't keep on falling off them, you will die. But you can't touch the bottom of the screen either, because there is lava there. There are different kinds of platforms too. If you touch a grey platform, the cat will just move up with it. Gray platforms appear at the bottom of the screen and moves to the top of the screen. Then it disappears. If you touch a blue platform, you will bounce up, and it doesn't bounce you up high enough to touch the spikes. So a blue platform might save your life. Blue platforms appear at the bottom of the screen, moves up a bit, then disappears. It doesn't move all the way to the top of the screen. If you touch a cracked platform, it will immediately break, and you will fall. Cracked platforms appear at the bottom of the screen and moves to the top of the screen just like grey platforms. They look very similar to grey platforms except the cracks on them. So if you don't look carefully, you might fall on a cracked platform by mistake and fall. When you die, click the green flag to restart.
