Origin Story: A wichlin decided to live in the sea. It could get its oxygen from dissolved oxygen ('cause it's cool like that), and it liked staring at fish. As it (i assume they have spores due to mushroominess) had more and more generations of children, we ended up with this, highly adapted, shy little wichlin. Their cloaks and hats tend to be actual coral, usually encarved with a rune or two. The little necklace Elkhorn has is actually her many-ago-anscestor's "just in case" oxygen breather from some (non currently existent) air/oxygen wichlin.
