I drew this a while back using references from pinterest, it's been so long since I drew it I can't exactly remember which reference ;-; I recently learned about the #drawingwhileblack hashtag and I decided this would be the perfect drawing. So here it is :) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, I've never really had any problems with race or my skin tone so I can't say much about that, but recently someone I know dealt with bullying because of their skin tone. The surprise is the were only between the age of 4-8 so it's just sad. I do have problems with my hair, and I sometimes hated it and just wanted straighter hair but now I realize there are many types of things I can do with 4c hair. (4c is the thickest hair type) but I'm to lazy to xp. When I draw, I usually like to draw people off all different groups because it makes me happy to make sure everyone is included. Sure, their are books with dark skin toned people but they always have some sort of afro which is really stereotypical and I don't like that. Anyway that's my take on things, feel free to say yours. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Music: Riptide by Vance Joy♪ Art by me on Autodesk Sketchbook Thanks @Defsiarte for the idea and some of the magnification code --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- #art #pfp #blackartists
