Please tap the flag, note I’m way too unmotivated to do my projects due to lack of health (and also lack of sleep ;w;) so pleaaaaase, PLEASE ignore how BAD this is, -Sky (Also the pie chart is how much the USA uses water, fun fact we only have 1% of the worlds water that’s clean, 2% dirty, and the rest is ocean water that has salt, and is bad for us XD forgot to clarify
Have you ever wondered, where do we get out water from??? Well we know where VA’s comes from. VA’s water facilities is our water used from this (chesapeake bay) Let's call this the water cleanser. This will be our main focus of this project. First off, you know your sinks and, private “vaca areas” of your house? The water used goes into the pipes and goes straight to the facility. They start the cleaning process off with these tubey tubes of movey move and spin in spiral soon collecting all the waste collected, now our waste water isn't the only water going down, there's also rain water (runoff water) that comes too through sewer drains. Those all connect to the tubey tube movey move things. After the collection these water supplies go into an area I like to call, the waiting space. The new “cleaned” water is transferred here in order to collect “PoOl WaTeR '' (chlorine.) which is dumped in. after that they do another round of chlorine clean and sweep up all the leftover residue from each batch, and incinerate all of the junk (aka burn it to a crisp.) Now fun fact, the amount of water this plant gets is 60 swimming pools full, and that means a lot of work. Next step is with the clean water, they chlorine it once again but stronger and send the clean batch further in, now that batch is over 99% cleaned. They then load the clean water out to golf ranges, schools, and homes and the leftover clean water is sent back into lakes, rivers, and the chesapeake. So you're probably now wondering, “why did you tell me this info that is most likely disgusting to thousands other then insane people?” Simple answer my friend, my science teacher gave us a project just like my failed wheather project but with water, and I decided to work alone to get it done. -Sky
