Music: The Demon King Odio [Live-A-Live OST] Megalomania [Live-A-Live OST] Live-For-Live [Live-A-Live OST] T A G S #Yugioh #Fan-made #Fanmade #Music #Custom #Live-A-Live #O.D Incarnate #Oersted #Straybow #Alicia #Hatred --------------------------------------------------------------- Lore (Warning: EXTREMELY LONG): Once there was a great warrior in the kingdom of Lucretia, his name was Oersted, and he was liked by all the kingdom dwellers. One day, Oersted and his friend, Straybow, attended a competition to earn the hand of the princess. Oersted won the competition, and won Alicia's hand and things seemed good... for a few hours. That very night, a demon captured Alicia right before Oersted's eyes, she was taken to the Demon King Mountain, and with Straybow's help, they ventured out to rescue Alicia the next day. However, the passage to lead to the mountain is closed off, so Oersted and Straybow, enlisted by the king, searched for Hash, one of the warriors who defeated the Demon King before and has sensed that he may have returned. They eventually find Hash, he refuses to help, so Oersted and Straybow take their leave and find the other warrior that helped defeat the Demon King before: Uranus. They find Uranus, convince him to join and help re- defeat the supposed return of the Demon King, before they needed Hash on board too, so they went back and managed to convince Hash to join. Using Hash's powers, the previously blocked passage was re-opened, and they traveled the land to the Demon King mountain, fighting demons on the way. When they reached the mountain, they came across the Demon King in his own personal room with his statue, they defeat him, but it wasn't the Demon King, and Hash died of a illness after the battle. When Straybow examined the Demon King statue, the place started to rumble, and they made a hasty escape, but Straybow was crushed by the falling boulders. Uranus and Oersted returned to the king with their failed mission, and was told to rest up for another day... That night, Oersted woke up to Straybow leaving the room, he followed and came across the Demon King again, Oersted struck it down but as the hallucination faded, it turns out Oersted had killed the king, and soon guards flooded the room to see what has happened; they called Oersted a demon. Oersted fled, but once he realized that everyone in the kingdom saw him as a demon, he surrendered, and was thrown in jail with Uranus as he was a "demon ally". In the mist of being in jail, Uranus used the last of his life force to give Oersted a power to escape, and unlocked the cell door, but not before telling him that he can believe if at least one person believed in him, that being Alicia. He died after that. Grieved, Oersted escaped, and fled to the Demon King mountain once more, and used a secret passage inside the Demon King Statue to head to the top of the mountain to see... Straybow?! Straybow was alive, and he played Oersted into committing regicide and getting thrown in jail, he faked his own death to rescue Alicia himself, saying that every emotion exploded in him after deciphering the text of the Demon King Statue, and he was tired of playing the second hero to Oersted, so he challenged Oersted to a final battle. Oersted had no choice but to kill Straybow, and once he did, Alicia appeared and said that Straybow was the one to save her, and blamed Oersted's heroism to Straybow's death. After that, Alicia just killed herself right then and there, right in front of Oersted. Oersted looked back on his memories, all the events that lead up to that point... The one person that believed him, Alicia, was gone. He had no place to return to, no one to love, and nothing to believe in anymore... He has lost hope, So he took up the Demon King mantle, to teach humanity the folly of their selfishness! From then on... He was no longer Oersted... but the new Demon King: Odio! --------------------------------------------------------------- Trivia: The lore story tells Oersted's downfall as the Lucretia's great hero, which is canon to the Live-A-Live game mind you. A few of the cards here that i made has effects that prevent your Oersted/O.D Incarnate monsters from changing battle positions (mostly face-down) by your opponent's card effects, as i noticed cards like "Quaking Mirror Force" can screw this deck over pretty badly. If you add up the ATK and DEF of each of the O.D Incarnates, you get 6660, which of course is the demon's number. BUT it also is a Easter Egg to the game itself as Oersted's maximum HP value is 666, which forewarns his eventual fall into the next Demon King. If it isn't obvious, each of the O.D Incarnates are the embodiment of Odio as they have variations of "Odio" in their names.
