SHARED OC WITH @-_Ticci_Toby_- Brine the Strangler is uno ov me OC's -w- Yes, he also has some dolls that he likes to keep him company sometimes. One has red hair in two braids over her shoulders and is named Ruby, and the other is blonde with shaggy hair and blue eyes, whom is named Lucas. Everyone, even Slenderman, believes that they are actually possessed with the souls of two kids who encountered Brine and made him mad. Brine usually carries them around, and he "talks" to them quite often. Don't insult Ruby or Lucas though, or Brine will not give mercy. He defends his "friends" with such loyalty that it's actually quite terrifying. Oh, and the dolls have a tendency to... roam around at night while Brine is away from the sewers. They always somehow gather beautiful, blood-red roses and set them up for him for when he returns. No one knows how to explain that except for the possession theory. THE TALE OF RUBY AND LUCAS: Legend has it that two kids, a red-head girl with a quick temper and a shaggy blonde boy with striking blue eyes, were playing a game of volleyball outside. The red-head hit the ball to hard, and it flew far into the forest nearby them. Each had no courage to go alone, so they went together. Once they reached the ball, they spotted a silhouette of a person behind a tree when they turned around to go back home, so they ran farther into the forest. After they had been running for a while, they realized that they were lost, and unfortunately for them, it was getting dark. Unbeknownst to them, the figure was able to follow them, and was right behind them. CRACK! A twig broke as the figure stepped forward and out of the shadows. He was wearing black and white striped clothes with light gray gloves and a top hat. His skin was unusually pale and the sides of his mouth had stitches. He was quite tall too. He offered his hand for help, but since the kids did not trust him, they each called him names and left him, not looking back. Angered by their rudeness, he followed them once again, staying in shadow. As the two tried to find their house, they saw lights. Their hearts filling with hope, they raced towards the lights... Only to find themselves in a small clearing with a lamppost in the middle. Five rose bushes bristling with thorns but lush with roses surrounded the lamppost. The kids walked into the clearing, and once again, the man came out. "Well, well, well, if it isn't the two brats whom I tried to help earlier." The kids were scared, and begged for help and mercy, but he had not complied. He snarled. "Don't you think a punishment is needed to discipline you two?" He asked. The kids apologized, beginning to cry. "We're so sorry! Please take us home!" They begged. But the man had other plans. "Actually," He began. "I think you don't need to go home. Why don't you stay here? I'm friendly and lonely." He said. The kids shook their heads. "Just take us home!" They pleaded again. The man furrowed his brow. "No." He smirked as he saw the dismay on the kids' faces, but he couldn't help feeling some pity for these kids. "How about you stay? I could be your new family. I've heard terrible things about your parents, and I couldn't BEAR to return you to them." The kids were confused. Terrible things? About their family? But they were scared and desperate. If this man knew things about their parents that they didn't, how could they ever feel safe at home? They finally agreed out of fear. The man smiled evilly. "I'm Brine." He introduced himself, unsheathing a dagger. The kids gasped. "Please don't hurt us! We agreed to live with you!" Brine shook his head. "I know. But I can't have two little kids running around the place, now, can I? I need you two to become less... mobile." Two screams. A dagger gleaming in the lamppost light. Deafening silence. Apparently, the two kids were holding dolls that looked like them- presents from their grandparents. Brine believes that as their souls left their small bodies, the spirits got confused and entered the dolls. Not able to escape the dolls, the dolls became not only their new bodies but also a prison. Brine seemed to sense their paranormal presence and took the dolls home. Now, you must think that the souls of the kids still had a fixed mindset on leaving, but no. The possession messed up their thoughts, and now they want to be with Brine forever as a thank you for freeing them from their parents who never did anything terrible to them in the first place. Yes. You thought right. Brine had lied. And he got what he wanted. Now the dolls are his family besides Slenderman and his proxies, who came six years later.
If you encounter him, he will usually be seen with a rose the color of blood. You would encounter him near rose bushes during nighttime and nearby his "house" in the sewers during daytime. He loves coming out at night. During the day, he hides in the sewers, which can be seen in the background. See those bars behind him? That's how he protects his small "house" so that nothing comes in, and if something DOSE manage entry... It doesn't come out. Oh, and one more thing: Do NOT make him angry. He is not one to trifle with. Provoke him and you will be missing by morning, And no one would be able to find you. You can count on it. oof such a long backstory to Ruby and Lucas ;w; It's actually really interesting tho He's supposed to have arms like Laughing Jack and stripes and a nose like he does, and two tails, but does Rinmaru have those sort of features? Let me answer that question for you: No. No they do not. LJ is gonna be verrrry upset when I tell him this..... -w-
