turn on camera and whatever your camera is pointed at will be scanned. (like a room in your house) This will take a while. (try not to bump or move the camera while it is scanning or the picture might look a little disoriented when it is recreated. When scanning is done, pen is used to draw a picture. use turbo mode for the drawing part. turbo mode will break the scanning part
