Different types of material: Green: grass Brown: dirt Black ore: Coal Yellow-brownish ore: Iron Red ore: Redstone Green ore: Emerald Yellow ore: Gold Blue ore: Diamond Blue blocks: Water (You can't swim in water...) Red blocks: Lava (You can't swim in lava...) If Lava touches water it turns to obsidian.
