☣️☣️ ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ READ THIS ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ ☣️☣️ Two ways to play. Use the sliders to passively watch the simulation or use social gatherings and other commands to save people or infect them with COVID-19. ------------------Coronavirus–Simulator--------------------- space bar to show the controls The simulation settings (sliders and stats): • People Flow - negative is slower, positive is faster • Hospital Size - the maximum amount of people that can be in the hospital at once • Hospital Reaction - the time before symptomatic people are quarantined and sent to the hospital, measured in days • Testing Precision - how precise the COVID-19 tests are. Measured in % • Hospital count - the number of people in hospital • People - People not infected • Infected - the number of people who have the coronavirus • Deaths - the number of people who have died from COVID-19 • Social distancing - reduce the amount of movement and makes people move slowly. 1=on, 0=off • Hospital Resources - the number of people who can receive treatment at once The people: • white dots - healthy people • yellow dots - infected asymptomatic people • red dots - symptomatic and infected • blue dots - people who have some immunity to the virus • dots that have a blue circle around them have a face mask. Other commands: Press 'r' to reset Press 's' to cure some people Press 'a' for a global event (e.g summon some toilet paper) that all people will attend. Press 'w' for a local event which only attracts some people near it. Using effects: Press 'e' to start. Use the up and down arrows to adjust the size of the effect. Use the left and right arrows to cycle through the possible effects (yellow = vaccine, red = bat soup, blue, face masks) vaccine cures all people bat soup infects all people face masks reduce the risk of transmission ----------------------------------------------------------------- This simulator isn't perfect. Made this in a few hours Try to get as many survivors as possible and comment on the number of survivors you got. :) You could also try to infect everybody if you're mean. Last update: 26/10/2020 (mega-update) Changed: • added vaccine, face masks, and bat soup (effects) • people can now wear face masks which reduces the risk of catching covid. The people can also drink bat soup and get covid 19 as well as take vaccines to get cured. Congrats you reached the end of the instructions!
☣️☣️ ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ READ THIS ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️ ☣️☣️ All my work. Most statistics come from https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ –––––––––––––––––––Assumptions––––––––––––––––––– All people are attracted to toilet paper and can't resist approaching. 3% chance of getting COVID-19 from an asymptomatic person who has the virus at zero speed. (minimum of 1% chance, maximum of 6% chance) 10% chance of getting COVID-19 from a person showing symptoms at zero speed. (minimum of 7% chance, maximum of 13% chance) People are more likely to get the virus when they are moving faster and less likely when they are moving slower. (When people slow, they have contact with an infected person for more time so this makes it more realistic) The virus can only be spread by contact. (no spreading through the air) Roughly 10-14 days before an infected person shows symptoms. People can die in a hospital and on the screen. Everybody follows the rules you have set. Hospitals fail to function once there are less than 30 people. No medical staff gets infected. (no transmission in hospital. People can only get better in a hospital. People die faster on the screen. 4% chance of death in the hospital. People all move around randomly and do not know the condition of others and themselves. (people don't move away from infected people and don't self isolate unless you tell them to) Movement is mostly random but there are social interactions. Only you can start an event. You can get the coronavirus again even if you have been infected before just a lot less likely. (There is not enough evidence about getting coronavirus again so it is impossible to make a 100% accurate simulator. I'm just guessing here) Coronavirus is controlled after there are less than 3 cases on the map. 1% of the population has some immunity. Testing kits can only be manufactured when there are over 25 healthy people. One testing kit is required for checking if a symptomatic person has the coronavirus. Two kits are required to make sure a healthy person doesn't have the coronavirus and is safe to let out of the hospital. face masks lower the risk of transmission by 30%. Immunity lowers the risk of transmission by 90%. ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Pls like and favourite :) Congrats you reached the end! Run the simulation now.
