THE CONTEST IS NOW OVER. You can still use the engine, though. -Old Description- PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION!!! Hello, and welcome to Make A Good Mega Man Level for Scratch! Here's what this is: This is a contest for the best Mega Man Level. Your job is to create a level by remixing this project and adding your own flair to it and completely change the level. -CONTROLS- Left and Right Arrow Keys to move. Z to jump. X to shoot. (THESE CAN BE EDITED IN YOUR ENTRY) -RULES- 1. Nothing mean. If there's something offensive to someone in your submission, it will not be counted toward the contest and will be reported to the Scratch Team. No exceptions. 2. Deadline. The contest ends on January 31st, 2021. Any remixes after that date will not be counted. 3. Submission. To submit an entry to the contest, remix the project and add it to the studio found here: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/26796745/. Put the name of the level, as well as CONTEST ENTRY. (Please note that if you would like to just use this engine/make a level, but do not want it to be used for the contest, please put NOT FOR CONTEST in the project title.) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some things I'd like to see: 1. Redone Graphic Styles. If you don't want an 8-bit engine, then feel free to change the graphic style. I'm okay with MM7, MM8, MM11 (though I doubt I'm gonna see that), and vector graphics. Just as long as I can tell who I'm playing as it's okay. 2. Changing the player. If you feel like, IDK, "Mega Man is great and all, but Proto Man needs a chance to shine", then go ahead! As long as the character is from Mega Man (Copy Robot, anyone?), then it's okay. (or anyone who this applies to), if you want to use any of your custom Robot Masters, I'm good with that. 3. MAKING AN ACTUAL A.I. AND NOT BASS! (obviously. It took me five minutes to finish Bass's A.I., so it's really not that good.) Anyway, I think I covered everything. Thanks, and happy making! -2020 Retrokid104 -2020 scratch.mit.edu
