This is Nyx the Yin Dragon and her brother Nuru the Yang Dragon. Press SPACE to see Nuru (Nyx's younger brother) Nuru is not my character! He is @Dasemboh 's character. READ: Don't steal these characters! You can get inspiration but nothing too similar! I love them XD DESIGN AND POWERS: Nyx is a black dragon(tinted purple) with large indigo wings and a Night Fury-like (ears?) appendages on the side of her head and a Night Fury-like tail fan as well. As well as purple claws, her eyes are the same color as her wings with no pupils. She does have a lighter purple where her iris is. (the colored part in the eye and the indigo part is the sclera). Her underbelly scales are also indigo and she has a Yang symbol on both her sides to symbolize balance) ALSO yes I spent the time to shade and lighten everything, including the black and white parts respectively. Nuru looks like Nyx except he is white(tinted lime) with lime green colorations instead of indigo and has a yin symbol on his sides (again to symbolize balance). Nuru also has rounder ear appendages and a shorter snout. He is also slightly smaller then Nyx. POWERS:(Go to @Dasemboh for all of Nuru's powers) Nyx and her brother Nuru have the power of TELEPATHY, but it only works with people they have met. Nyx's main power is OBLITERATION. Where she can remove anything from existence that she touches, but it takes a lot of power. Especially large things. (Note this doesn't mean they are "hurting" some/thing) She also has the power to RESURRECT creatures of any kind, but only if they died recently. If they've been dead for over 2 days it no longer works. (She has never had to use this power before) If Nyx and Nuru combine their strengths their powers combine making the symbols on their side glow and wisps of light (colored either indigo or lime green(Nuru's color)) come off their scales. This power greatly increases their abilities and they have the ability to summon Balance Beams. Which are massive beams of light that completely blind opponents and in no way possible can be deflected. (unless it's the Creator themself) This takes up almost all their power is VERY RARELY used.
I used Clip Art Studio to make this and my WACOM Tablet and Pen. STORY TIME: Nyx is the last of the Yin Dragons and her brother Nuru is the last of the Yang Dragons. Their parents gave them their power when they were too old to carry out their mission anymore. After their parents died, Nyx and Nuru flew far away from their homeland into a lush jungle. Here they set up a new den to call home. Nyx and Nuru practiced their powers together and are fiercely loyal to each other as they are the last of their family and the last of their species. They have symbols opposite to their power on the side of their bodies symbolizing that they need each other. Hundreds of years later (Nyx is 1,300 and Nuru is 1,100 old now) a village showed up close to their den. They went and investigated it, but decided not to interfere. After a while, a specific... human(heh) appeared in their village. This person wasn't normal and to prevent them from getting harmed, Nyx and Nuru decided to guard the village. Nothing major really happened and the townspeople didn't know they were there. To prevent them from being discovered, Nyx used a powerful enchantment that made their den invisible to everyone except animals. Living for years in the shadows they finally started leaving clues they were there, whether it be footprints or claw marks on trees. After a while, they started appearing to a select few villagers including the person they guarded specifically. They eventually started appearing regularly and the townspeople knew of them eventually, but they still stayed hidden for the most part. They live a mostly peaceful life, watching over the village and keeping it safe. However... they can only protect it for so long until their mission takes priority...
