You've probably seen these raycaster projects before... and no doubt it's been done better, but here is an improved version of my vertical scan line 3d test project. This time I did the maths to speed things up. Let me know what FPS you get (normal & full screen, beta player or normal, pepper flash or adobe). Also, do you get keyboard induced lag? Controls - WASD + Cursor Keys to look around. F to freeze the mouse controls.
Im not good at making 3d effects but I have played Mario 64. I used the sprite as if it was a 3d Mario game. thanks griffpatch and Miner5832. you really helped me!
