Teacher Assessment ☆ ~ ✎ Space, then Arrows ☆ ~ ✎ This is a super small lesson but a super important topic! Before we legit start Human Anatomy I wanted to go over Figure, which is basically a really loose sketch just to get a feel for the motion of the pose you are drawing! Using Figure in your initial sketches will really help you avoid making super stiff poses and it can help give you a sort of starting point for your drawing. Forms that are drawn using Figure usually wrap themselves around a 'Line of Motion,' which you can see in the drawings in the slides. This basically gives you a really basic idea of how things flow and can be built upon as a skeleton for your pose. Honestly, being able to implement Figure in your drawings is super helpful, but it takes practice and discipline to see your art in that 'ugly sketch' stage. So that brings me to the homework! ☆ ~ ✎ Homework ☆ ~ ✎ Give me three sketches that use the Line of Motion! Try to make your poses as fluid as you can, and don't worry about proportions - just have fun with this! ☆ ~ ✎ Credits ☆ ~ ✎ This is a class created for Art Academy - Humans All info and slides by me, but obv I didn't invent the concept, idk who to credit that to Bg is from Google ☆ ~ ✎ Enjoy and do your HW ☆ ~ ✎ tbh just needed to throw this out before anatomy bc otherwise the experience isn't as much fun
Student Assessment ☆ ~ ✎ To teachers: ☆ ~ ✎ Hi there! I hope that my completed assignment is efficient and pleasing. I wanted to work with more fluid poses, but I had roughly 10 minutes, so this is what I came up with. Better be worth a good grade (I'm just kidding)!
