This is Skyleaf, a medicine cat of Thunderclan! Her story starts when she was born in a twoleg place, and her original name was Sky, in honor of her sky blue eyes. Her mom was a kittypet and her dad was a warrior of Thunderclan. Sky's mom's owner saw how unique Sky's colors were, and decided that he could make a profit off of her by selling her. By this point, Sky was only 4 weeks old, so she wasn't even ready to go to her own home yet. The owner knew this, and knew that Sky's mom would do anything to protect her. So one day, the owner put poison in the mom's food, and she got sick and died, leaving 4-week old Sky to fend for herself. But when the owner tried to grab Sky to put her in a crate, she managed to get away and run into the woods, not knowing she had ended up in her father's clan's territory. After wandering the woods for a while, a patrol found her and took her back to their camp, where she got to meet her father and earned the name Skykit. Time went on and Skykit grew up. When she reached 6 moons, she decided that she wanted to be a medicine cat, so she became the medicine cat's apprentice. Time went on again and eventually Skypaw earned the name Skyleaf, and after her mentor died, became a fully trusted medicine cat. Skyleaf had everything she wanted, but there was something she was longing for, a family to call her own. She knew it was against the code to have kits, so Skyleaf came up with a rule that she would propose to the clans, that would give medicine cats the ability to have kits. So, on the next half moon meeting, Skyleaf proposed: "Medicine cats are allowed to have kits. So as long as the keep it within the borders of their clan, and they must have a fully fledged medicine cat to take over while the other raises the kits." And Starclan agreed. So, after telling all of the leaders about the new rule, Skyleaf was finally able to tell her crush how she felt, and she was able to have a healthy thriving litter of four. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- And that is the end of Skyleaf's story! :)
