Make your own podcast and you can get your own podcast episode! PODCAST(by @Pineapple_Wolf and OMG This is AMAZING): Hello, everybody! Welcome to the first episode of a new Scratch podcast, The Scratch Hunger Games. I am @Pineapple_Wolf, also known as Wolf, a curator of the studio The Scratch Hunger Games. I am going to be sharing with you a topic I find important to The Hunger Games trilogy. Here it is: Why Katniss should have married Gale! Before I begin, I have a note to tell you all. If I begin to rant, please tell me in the comments. I can get overly passionate when speaking for something I strongly believe in or when I am making a point. So, if I rant, I sincerely apologize! Okay, let’s dive right into the reasons Katniss should have married Gale instead of Peeta. 1. He was actually helpful during the revolution. Unlike Peeta who was busy being brainwashed and working for President Snow — though, not entirely his fault — Gale fought beside Katniss during the revolution. They arguably went through just as much together during Mockingjay Part 1 as Peeta and Katniss did in the arena. 2. Gale knows her better than anyone else. Katniss and Gale have been best friends since they were kids. Did Peeta spend his adolescent years hunting with Katniss? No, he did not. (It’s not his fault he had to help his parents bake bread, but that’s besides the point.) 3. Gale's unconditionally there for her. Speaking of bread, remember when Gale traded his squirrel so he could give Katniss a loaf? And that's not the only time he sacrificed himself for Katniss: He took care of her mother and sister during the first time Katniss competed in the Hunger Games, and made sure they survived when herr district was destroyed. 4. By marrying Peeta, Katniss obeyed what the Capitol designed for her. If she had married Gale, it would have gone against the Capitol’s forced romance between Katniss and Peeta. Their fake romance during the games wasn’t only a strategy, like Peeta planned it to be, but it soon became required for them to fake this romance if they did not want pain dealt unto them. 5. I used to find Gale surly and jealous, but who wouldn't be surly when they are very poor, live with a weary mother, three younger siblings, have a large chance to be forced to fight to the death, and only one best friend you can trust, but you can only really talk to her when illegally escaping to the woods? And who wouldn't be jealous when that friend makes out with the guy she barely even knows? Then, she comes back and acts like she loves Gale, but then goes off and eventually gets married to this other dude and have kids with him! Honestly, I'd be jealous… 6. I believe Katniss only married Peeta because Gale became involved with war, and Katniss decided not to marry him because war gave her PTSD. She settled with Peeta since they had gone through a lot together, but they weren't truly in love. That’s all for now! I hope you enjoyed listening to why I believe Gale was the right husband for Katniss. Thanks for tuning in to The Scratch Hunger Games podcast! The idea for this podcast was created by and inspired by The Hunger Games Fan Podcast! which was created by GSPN. Once again, I am /Wolf, and I hope you’ll listen to the next episode of our podcast! Goodbye for now. CREDITS Podcast- Original Podcast- https://gspn.tv/category/z-archive/hungergames/page/3/ LINKS Studio- MAP- Manager Form- Podcasts-
