Click the green Flag and watch a few animations I made! - Sorry for the loading times... It usually takes about 15 seconds-ish. I would love to see some animators on scratch make some animations in this kind of format too! You can even use these characters if you'd really like! You can also use my animations as an example if you really want to as well. UwU Each animation was made in about 1 - 2 hours. Each animation has about 30 frames of animation. Each frame of animation took about 3 minutes. There are 38 animations. ...So, this project took about 57 Hours to make. ...Which is roughly 2 and a half days time. ( o - o ) Welp. This project has been in the making for a while, and the top row of animations were made back in Scratch 2.0, and the rest were made in Scratch 3.0; Which is why the top animations look a little weird... Animator's commentary: So, I originally made this project just because I felt like animating. After a while, it just kinda spiraled into all of these animations and before I knew it, I had enough to fill a whole page, so I decided to release it. In all honesty, the hardest thing to animate here were the faces, so the animations with the most facial expression changes were the harder ones. But also, this project was some amazing animation practice, there are sooo many subtle things in human body language that I tried to emulate, which I think I captured well, but hey, I'm biased. So, what did I learn from this? Well, I learned that: TIMING is EVERYTHING. When I was working throught a lot of these animations, if something didn't look right it was usually because the timing was off. So, I would put in an extra frame or two, and modify existing frames in order to get it juuussst right. but, hey, it paid off, huh? Also, I learned that the 12 principles of animation are nothing to scoff at. Seriously, study those principles! ('<' ) Released: April 5, 2020
