This tank was made in WW1 to support other big tanks as the Mark I-V, this tank was very popular for his 13,4 km/h, because in that moment that speed in a tank was considered a lot of speed. It was designed by sir William Whippet, it also was the tank who killed more Germans at WW1, and was one of the better tanks in WW1.
His first use was of taking advantage of his speed to over exploit the victories. This tank was also named at first "hunter Tritton", and there were various model before his definitive version, for example, one with a rotative turret, but they prefered the non-rotative turret, this tank had 200 units.
