Name: Cirrus Backstory: Once upon a time, deep inside a forest shrouded in snow, lived a wolf named Cirrus. Unlike most, Cirrus had a particular fondness for adventure. She enjoyed exploring the forest, and all that lied within it. One day, while walking through the forest, she came across a cave she had never seen before. Without hesitation, Cirrus entered. The cave was dark and cold, but Cirrus was not frightened. Her passion for adventure eradicated any and all fear she felt. Suddenly, she heard a soft, distant sound. It sounded like flowing water. A stream inside a cave? How odd. Cirrus continued to explore. She moved toward the sound. Past the jagged rocks, through the interwoven tunnels. The sound got louder. Cirrus saw a light. A faint, dull one, but a light nonetheless. She ran toward the light. The light got brighter, the sound of rushing water louder than ever before. The tunnel Cirrus was in led to a large cavern, and the source of the light and sound revealed itself. The tallest waterfall Cirrus had ever seen, flowing in from an unknown source. The water pooled up at the bottom, branching off into countless rivers exiting the cavern. That was when Cirrus noticed something particularly peculiar about the water. It was... glowing? The light filled the room with an eerie feeling. The water, so bright Cirrus couldn't see the bottom, radiated uncertainty. It made her feel... afraid. Cirrus's courage vanished in an instant. She tried to run away, but before she could, the cliffside she was standing on gave way, plunging her into the bright, watery depths below. Cirrus tried to fight against the current, but it was too strong. She was swept away into the water filled cavities. Cirrus couldn't see. The rivers carried her further into the unknown. Left, right, left, left, right. She began to lose her sense of direction. Forwards, left, around, backwards. Cirrus was running out of air. Suddenly, she felt the current begin to slow. Cirrus hesitantly opened her eyes, and saw that the surface of the water was bright. Bright with daylight. She swam with all the strength she had left to make it to the surface. Cirrus grabbed hold of the nearest ledge, and triumphantly pulled herself out the water, gasping for air. She looked down at her paws, and noticed something was off. They didn't look right. Why were they... purple? Cirrus didn't think too much about it, though. She was just so happy to be alive. Once she had regained her strength, she stood and began to navigate her way home. After a while of walking, Cirrus noticed a small plant poking out of the snow. It was incredible that anything was able to survive the extreme cold besides the coniferous trees. As she approached the plant, however, it began to wilt. The leaves yellowed and shriveled up, falling to the ground. Cirrus looked down at her paws again. Still purple. Something isn't right. She ran over to a nearby puddle, and looked at her reflection. Her fur was blue, and her eyes... the waterfall! Could it be? The one from the legends and stories she heard about as a child? Cirrus looked back at the decaying plant sadly. "It can't be." She whispered to herself. "The frostbite curse."
tl:dr, backstory: Cirrus found a cave, almost drowned, and then some leaves died and she got sad. This is art for @ml463068's DTA
