That's how long the experiments had been going on. The experiments that made Experiment 1034- Daniel Cooper- go mad. Samuel "Sammy" Long (Experiment 2026), age 16, had never really known Daniel. When he had come to the lab at age 9, he had learned quickly not to associate with the hot-headed brunette. The ginger would always steer clear Daniel; wether it was because he was afraid of being friends with him or enemies with him is unknown. Due to Daniel's reckless behavior, Sammy was unsurprised when he heard Daniel had escaped the lab. But when Sammy finds Danny, trapped in a cell, murmuring horrible things that had happened to him... That was a different story. ═══✧✦✧══════✧✦✧══════✧✦✧═════ So I know this is really short and kind of confusing, and I do apologize! Basically there are many labs around the globe. These labs conduct experiments on unwanted, homeless, or "kidnapped" children. It causes the children to have powers. There have only been 5 escapists from the particular lab Sammy is at (Lab Orange 8). That includes Daniel- at least, it did, until Sammy finds him in a cell (more on that in future chapters). Keep in mind that in Chapter 1, the story will talk about how Sammy finds the cell. Chapter 2 is when things actually start happening. Also, thanks to my friend @zerro- for the amazing cover!
