These are family portraits. I thought it would be a good idea to credit my loyal and generous (and might I say enormous) family. ~TITLE: John Trumbull~ ~OTHER ART: Alexander Hamilton~ ~CONTROLS: Mr. Trumbull told me something called a space bar? Well, try pressing that~ ~SIGNATURES: Each signature on each portrait is signed by the sitter~ ⬇️Look down⬇️ ~Portrait No. 1~ Me, Mr. Alexander Hamilton. Probably the greatest man during the unfortunate times in which we worked to conceive our new nation, to the dedication of the idea of liberty, safety, and Independence for the American people. Besides His Excellency, George Washington, of course. ~Portrait No. 2~ Mrs. Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton. The most amazing woman of my time. She was born in Albany New York, in 1757 to her wealthy parents, Philip and Catherine Schuyler. God has blessed me with a wonderful person in my life. And later on, He blessed us with our darling children. Which leads me to: ~Portrait No. 3~ My Philip Hamilton, was born on the 22 of January, 1782 in Albany. He was a very intelligent child, and always had the presence of a future orator. His eyes were full of much respect and kindness toward others. He would do many great things that, I personally think would be much greater than anything Mr. Jefferson and Mr. Adams combined could have done. A truly inspiring and blessed son I have. There could be no boy better. ~Portrait No. 4~ Angelica Hamilton, our second child and first daughter, was born on the 25th of September, 1784. She was a very musical girl, and I recall when Mrs. Washington would take her to classes to study and perform the art of dancing. Unfortunately, she suffered a great deal when Philip passed. Eliza and I knew the two were very close. When Philip was no longer with us, Angelica suffered mental illness, and the thing that scared us most, was that she could sometimes not even recognize her dear parents and siblings. In my best efforts, I tried bringing back her dissipating happiness with two parakeets and watermelon, in which I had gotten from a friend of mine. But her sadness and illness stayed with her for the rest of her life. ~Portrait No. 5~ Alexander Hamilton Jr. (much to the delight that his namesake could name him "Alexander Hamilton", whereas my wife wasn't exactly looking forward to that, because apparently, it would be confusing when she called out to one of us) was born on the 16th of May, 1786. He was a good child, smart just as his older brother. We sent him off with Philip to a boarding school when he was in his 8th year after birth. He later on went to Colombia University, but left just before graduation to see me on my deathbed. ~Portrait No. 6~ James Alexander Hamilton, was born on the 14th of April , 1788. Well, he certainly was an exciting child. As he grew, he was very fond in the art of war. I once told him that war is a time in which neither side can fight honorably, for so many deaths it causes. He grew into a fine politician, and an avid supporter of Mr. Andrew Jackson, though I disagree on some cases knowing Mr. Jackson was a major supporter of removing Native Americans. ~Portrait No. 6~ My son John Church Hamilton (Eliza says it was very sensible to name our fourth son OTHER than "Alexander Hamilton", much to my dismay. I did loop in a few eye-rolls when she was not looking) was born on the 22nd of August, 1792. Just like his other brothers, he was intelligent, and well composed, (except for James, who sometimes made a racket if he ever felt like it). He was a member of the Whig Party, and presented a statue of me in my honor. ~Portrait No. 7~ William Stephen Hamilton was conceived on the 4th of August, 1797. I'm afraid he didn't have a very exciting life. He wasted his entire life trying to find gold during the "California Gold Rush". It didn't work, and he died by what he called, "Mountain fever". I made a gloomy background on his portrait to represent how boring his life was. He is also the only person that doesn't have a smile. I'm not very proud of him, I have to admit, but he was adorable when he was a child...which now brings me to our second daughter: ~Portrait No. 8~ Eliza Hamilton Holly was born on the 20th of November, 1799. Unfortunately, she was quite a sickly infant, which was not good for a man like me who, in the midst of this brith, dealt with the news of His Excellency dying, and trying to recover my family's acceptance after my action of affairs. She was just 4 when I died, and she and my wife did not attend my funeral. She and her mother were very close, and 'tis true she resembled much of her father.
The description is unfortunately "too long", so I have put the last portrait in here: ~Portrait No. 9~ My last son, Philip Hamilton II, was born on the 1st of 1802. We would also call him "Lil' Phil". He was just 2 when I died. Confusing, my death was, at the time for him. He did not know why there were tears then. He did not know why I wouldn't respond, no matter how much the doctors tried. That's all I can say.
